FAQS - iSkins/DVD

iSkins Important FAQS.

How are the skins produced?
The skins are made of very thin vinyl film (3M™), with a pressure-activated adhesive. The artist's drawing is printed directly on it, in photo quality. The top layer is a smooth coating, to protect your skin from scratching, ultra-violet rays and graffiti. The quality of the film (3M™ ControlTac™) allows easy repositioning and placement without air bubbles.

Do the skins protect the screen of your iPod™?
Yes. The skins are equipped with a protective film (3M™ Vikuiti™). The Vikuiti™ screen protector (anti-reflecting, matte, and removable) does not only protect the screen of your iPod™ against degradation, it also has anti-reflecting properties that will contribute considerably to the ease of use of your iPod™.

Will the skins hinder the use of other accessories?
No. The skin is so thin (less than 0.1 mm) and the absence of air bubbles when properly applied will permit all accessories to be used, without any exception. Your iPod™ will still slide into the dock and there won't be any interference with your iTrip.

Can the skins be removed easily?
Yes. The skins can be removed easily and they leave no residue whatsoever on the screen.

Are the skins re-useable?
Yes, and no. The skins are designed to be used only once, but tests have shown that the quality of the adhesive often allows the skin to be used more than once.

How do I put on my skin?

DVDS Important FAQS.

Please read below for important information on our dvds.

Our DVDs are available only in the American National Television System Committee (NTSC) television broadcast system standard at present.

A few facts about NTSC:
    * 95% of the world's DVD players can read NTSC.
    * Playing NTSC DVDs in Europe - all PAL DVD players output NTSC, and MOST PAL TVs will display NTSC with no problems.
    * One way to tell you won’t have any problems is to determine if your player/TV can play back "Region 1 DVDs" - if yes, then you can display NTSC with no problems.

In any case check your equipment before ordering!

A quick note on DVD regions: All of our DVDs are programmed to be read in ALL REGIONS (EXCEPT for HELVETICA, which is programmed for Region 1 only - it will however work on DVD players that are ‘Region Free’).
